Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Copper – A Gentle Soul with a Big Heart
Copper is a male Husky puppy with a soft, thoughtful nature and a heart full of kindness. When he arrived at the shelter, Copper was one of five pups affectionately known as the “ABCs” — Andy, Brandy, Copper, Dudley, and Ember. From the start, it was clear that Copper had a special way with other dogs.
He is very dog-friendly and does wonderfully with canine companions, offering gentle corrections when needed and not letting other dogs walk all over him. Copper has a calm, balanced approach to play, making him a great match for a variety of dog personalities. His best buddy—outside of his siblings—is Tostada, a high-energy male Husky puppy who keeps life exciting.
With people, Copper is a bit of a nervous soul. When meeting new faces, he can often be seen “pancaking” as he takes time to feel safe. Once he gets to know you, though, Copper transforms into a loving, gentle cuddlebug who enjoys quiet affection and close companionship.
Copper would thrive in a patient, understanding home that will let him build confidence at his own pace, ideally with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes. In return, he offers loyalty, gentleness, and a deep, sincere bond.
If you’re looking for a sweet, dog-savvy pup with a tender heart and a loving nature, Copper may be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾💙

We are committed to helping each potential owner
choose an animal best suited to the owner's life
style. Each animal currently available for adoption has his or her own special story and some have yet to feel the comfort and security of a loving home. Your interest in adopting one of our special friends means that you are a caring
and responsible person. Make no "bones"
about it - adopting a pet is a very
important decision! And, like any
important decision, it requires a
lot of thought and consideration.
