My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Butters!
This little guy may be tiny, but he’s definitely mighty. Butters can act a bit spicy at first, but once he feels safe, he melts like butter in your arms. 💛

Butters is about 7 years old and weighs just 5.5 pounds. He was lovingly surrendered to us by someone who could no longer care for him and wanted the very best for his future. Now he’s ready to find a calm, loving home where he can feel secure and cherished.

Small in size, big in personality—Butters is sure to steal your heart.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
