Happy Paw-ladays! My name is Dani and I'm a gorgeous 6-10month old female black sable German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and will be available for transport.

Kids: prefer a home without kids

Training: needs full obedience training
1. I've had a rough start to life. Since being in the rescue, I've learned so many new things, especially what safe love is!
2. I need a specific home: one that will promise to put in the work to help me bond to you and put in the time and energy to train me. I'm a bit behind socially and mentally and I do take time to warm up to new people. Please don't give up on me!!
3. I love to play with other large dogs and having a nice helper dog in my next home is a requirement.
4. I love to play in the yard and explore, having a fenced in yard is a requirement for my adoption. It will help keep me safe and give me a safe place to play.
5. I am sweet, love to snuggle on the couch or in the bed, I'm great with other dogs, I'm house & crate trained - I have a lot of great qualities! Will you paw-promise to train and work with me to help me blossom?
6. If you are looking to put in the time, energy, and consistent effort into creating your most loyal companion and best friend, please consider adopting me. I'd love to have a person or family of my own.

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time

Imminent Danger German Shepherd Rescue started in 2011 rescuing German Shepherds and High Content Mixes from the Imminent Danger where they were sitting on Death Row in High Kill Animal Control Facilities in TN, NC, SC,KY, VA, GA & AL. Over 1600 Dogs lives have been spared and we've never worked so hard in our lives to save these wonderful kids. Our process from saving these kids includes 30 years of experience in working breed dogs. We conduct Safer Tests with all dogs to determine the abilities of the dogs so that we can match the right dog to the right family. We do not shove our dogs out the door. We do multiple videos of the dogs as well to our potential adopters. We disclose all positive and negative behavior traits so our adopters can work on any training the dog may need. IDGSR starts the rehabilitation and training with these wonderful kids and our adopters are part of the team of folks who help to ensure these kids will never suffer another day of hardship in their lives again. IDGSR will not take Aggressive Dogs into the Rescue.

It is our goal to save more but we need wonderful qualified families who want to save a life and welcome a new family member.
