My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $475

When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!

What we know: Transferred from Dixon Animal Protection Services, litter of 6, 5 female / 1 male, approximately 8 weeks old, not fixed, too young for rabies

From the foster: Meet 876, or as we call him, Peanut!

Peanut will instantly snuggle into you the first time you hold him. He will be your permanent shadow and loyal companion for life. He’s starting to get the hang of potty training and with a bit more training he will be there! He currently sleeping in a crate at night and is sleeping 7+ hours a night! He loves our 11 year old dog and does amazing with our 2 kids 5 and 7. He is a perfect gentlemen when it comes to puppies. Peanut will be the perfect addition to anyone’s family.

More about this rescue

Colorado Puppy Rescue is a 501(c)3 no-kill rescue for young puppies. We accept puppies from kill-shelters in southern CO, NM,TX, OK and KS. Most of our puppies are mixed mutts under 12 weeks old, some are as old as 6 months. We do not have a shelter. All of our puppies stay in foster homes so the only time they are available for adoption is at our adoption events. We average 20 puppies a week and update our website with available puppies Friday afternoons.
