My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aloha! 🌺 My name is Lava Lava, and I’m a beautiful black-and-white tuxedo girl with the cutest little pink nose. My siblings and I all have fun Hawaiian names, and we were found with our mommy when we were just a couple of weeks old. Thanks to lots of love and care, I’m now ready to find my forever family.
I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, kindness, and gentle ear and chin scratches, I warm up and show my sweet, affectionate side. Once I trust you, I love belly rubs and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give.
Playtime is one of my favorite things! I enjoy chasing toy mice and snuggling or pouncing on stuffed toys. I have a calm, gentle personality and would do best in a home with other cats, calmer children, and calmer cat-friendly dogs, with a slow and proper introduction.
I’ve been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated, so I’m all set to start my next chapter.
Are you looking to add a little Hawaiian love to your ʻOhana? I might just be the perfect match. 🌴🐾

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit based in the Phoenix metro area that rescues and rehabilitates stray, feral, and abandoned animals, primarily kittens and cats. We are strong believers in TNR-Trap, Neuter, Return- for controlling feral cat colonies. We seek to educate and support the humane management of these efforts, and can provide traps and advice for those in need of help.
