My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

👑 Meet Priscilla (aka Princess!) 👑

2.5-year-old Pomeranian | Professional Cuddler | Adventure Enthusiast

If you’ve ever dreamed of a fluffy little shadow who lives for love, cuddles, and quality time—Priscilla is your girl. This adorable 2.5-year-old Pomeranian is as cute as can be, with a happy-go-lucky personality and a heart full of affection.

Priscilla is a proud Velcro dog, meaning she thrives on being close to her people (two-way cuddles are her specialty!). She’s the perfect blend of playful energy and cozy couch companion—always up for a walk, car ride, or fun outing, but just as content snuggled up beside you soaking in belly rubs.

When she’s excited, prepare to be charmed by her signature happy spins—they’re impossible not to smile at. She does well with other dogs, is great with children, and would make a wonderful addition to a loving home.

Priscilla is:

✔️ House-trained

✔️ Up to date on vaccinations

✔️ Microchipped

✔️ Well-loved and well-mannered

Her previous family adored her, but with a growing household, they weren’t able to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. Now she’s looking for her forever home—ideally with someone who is home often or works from home and is ready to make her a cherished part of everyday life. A yard is a bonus, but not a requirement—what she wants most is you.

If you’re ready for unconditional love, daily smiles, and a fluffy best friend who will happily follow you anywhere, Princess Priscilla is ready to meet you. 💖

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Whether you are interested in a specific dog or would like us to recommend a dog that fits you best, you can expect the following adoption process:

1. The first step in the adoption process is to complete an Application. http://rescueachi.com/adoption-application/ We will review your application and verify the information upon receiving it. If you rent your home, your landlord will be contacted for approval so it is important to make sure to include your landlord’s name and number on the application.

2. Once your application is approved, we will make arrangements for you to meet the dog in person. This interview is usually arranged by the dog’s foster family and may take place at your home or mutual location. We encourage everyone who lives in the household, especially children and other pets to meet and interact with the dog during this interview.

3. CRSD reserves the right to visit your home for an inspection during the adoption process.

4. Once you are approved, you will be asked to sign a legally binding Adoption Contract and pay an adoption fee.

Adoption Fees
Because we are an all-volunteer group, 100% of all adoption fees are used to cover medical expenses for the dogs in our rescue. Medical treatments include general health exams, dogs spay/neuter surgery, dental work, vaccinations, flea preventative medicals, microchip and microchip registration.

Any additional donation would be greatly appreciated, and this portion may be tax-deductible. Donations help us to continue to care for these special dogs.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue consisting of an all volunteer organization where all of our dogs are in private homes everyday. We do not have a shelter and our dogs are not kept in cages. Our dogs are from county animals shelters or from previous owners that are no longer able to care for their dog. All of our dogs are started on housebreaking, however, we do not guarantee that they will be housebroken. We offer education on how to housebreak a dog as well as other information on different situations. Every dog is spayed or neutered, current on shots, dewormed, frontline for fleas and ticks. Thank you for considering a rescue dog!!!
