My name is Taco (Courtesy Post)!

Taco is a sweet, sensitive senior lady looking for a calm and understanding home where she can truly relax. At approximately 10 years old, this spayed Domestic Shorthair has mastered the art of cozy living and proudly earns her title as a “Drawer Cat.” Her favorite spot is a safe, warm nook. Currently that is an open carrier tucked under a bed, where she can nap peacefully and observe the world on her own terms.

Taco may take a little time to warm up to her person, but patience is richly rewarded. Once she feels safe, she leans into chin scratches and face rubs, happily offering her belly for a quick, gentle pat. She’s especially enthusiastic about mealtime and will excitedly tell you all about her love for pâté.

While Taco has never shown any aggression, she is still learning how to be a companion and can be a bit shy at first. She would do best in a quiet home and may enjoy the company of another calm, like-minded cat.

Taco is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, recently had bloodwork done, and is FIV/FeLV negative. She’s a gentle soul who just wants a safe place to rest and a kind human to love.
