Background
George found himself on the shelter euthanasia list, simply because space and time ran out. Thankfully, a plan came together just in time, and he was pulled into rescue where he could finally exhale and start fresh.

Personality
George is a shy, gentle soul who prefers to observe before jumping in. He’s thoughtful, quiet, and sensitive, but once he feels safe, his playful side begins to emerge. He especially enjoys running around and playing with a trusted dog friend, which has helped him build confidence quickly.

Ideal Home
A calm, patient home that understands shy puppies need time and consistency to bloom. A confident resident dog would be a wonderful bonus for George.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

• Current pets must be spayed/neutered, UTD on annual exams, heartworm tests, vaccines & consistent heartworm prevention.

2.
Interview

We will have a volunteer call personal and vet references. We will interview applicant if all information provided is accurate.

3.
Home Check

We do in home visit checks or via video chat. Video Chat If adopter lives out of our area, if a volunteer Is unavailable.

Or we help arrange private (or volunteer) transport for your pet if adopter isn’t in our local area.

Additional adoption info

We are all volunteers, but we try to have all applications processed in 7 business days.. If you are approved, then we will send you an adoption contract and transport information. Payment must be made once contract is finalized.
We try to answer all inquiries. If you are interested in a pet the best way to meet that pet is FILL OUT AN APPLICATION. Since we are all volunteers, applicants must be approved before a meet/greet.

Team Memphis Rescue & Support provides assistance to Team Memphis Rescue & Support approved rescues by transporting pets from shelters, boarding facilities, Veterinary clinics and foster homes.
