Meet Peppa Pig’s Puppies!

This irresistible litter of teeny tiny Mal-Shih puppies is just over 8 weeks old and already winning hearts wherever they go. Born to sweet mama Peppa after she came into DPS from a life of living in a vehicle with several other small dogs, these babies got the very best start thanks to a loving foster home. While we don’t know exactly who their dad is, all of the possible fathers were 7 lbs or under, so we expect these pups to stay very small. Right now, they each weigh in around just 2–3 lbs and are as cute as they are mighty.

Daily Routine

The puppies wake up around 6:00 a.m. every day, bright-eyed and ready to burst out of their crate for playtime. They spend the next 45 minutes to an hour running, wrestling, exploring, and bouncing around before inevitably crashing into a nap— either back in the crate or curled up in a nearby dog bed. This cycle of play hard, nap hard repeats throughout the day. Their final bedtime is around 9:00 p.m.

They eat three meals a day— breakfast, lunch, and dinner—and are doing wonderfully with a structured routine. Impressively for their age, they are already about 80% accurate with using pee pads and continue to improve every day.

Socialization & Personality as a Group

These puppies have been very well socialized with both adults and children ranging from ages 3 to 16. They are extremely playful with one another, love interacting with people, and enthusiastically engage with toys. They’re also capable of entertaining themselves— whether that means solo toy play or spontaneous bouncing around just for fun.

Every single puppy loves to be held and will eagerly attempt to lick your face the moment they’re close enough. They happily soak up attention and will follow you from room to room as a tiny, wiggly pack. Sweet, confident, affectionate, and curious, they are exactly what you hope for in young puppies.

Meet the Puppies

Rebecca Rabbit

Rebecca is rarely without a toy nearby. She especially enjoys sitting inside the toy basket and pulling everything out, one item at a time. She’s often one of the first to explore new situations, venture off independently, or jump into a sibling wrestling match. While she’s playful and confident, Rebecca isn’t an attention hog and has a fairly chill, easygoing personality.

Suzy Sheep

One of the two smallest puppies, Suzy is mama Peppa’s mini-me in both looks and attitude. She enjoys exploring and playing on her own but truly shines when she launches herself into the middle of a sibling scuffle— often after carefully watching and choosing the perfect moment to pounce. Suzy is one of the biggest attention seekers in the litter, especially when she wants to be held, and just like her mom, she absolutely loves belly rubs.

Freddy Fox

Freddy has grown into one of the most outgoing pups in the group. He’s endlessly curious about what the humans are doing and often toddles over to investigate. You’ll find him wrestling with siblings, digging through the toy basket for favorites, or exploring his surroundings. His fur has been getting longer, thicker, wavier, and incredibly soft as he grows, and his playful antics are consistently entertaining.

Wendy Wolf

Wendy Wolf is the largest puppy in the litter and the clear leader of the pack. She’s usually the first one asking to be let out of the crate and was the first to escape the x-pen, showing off her independent, confident spirit. She loves belly rubs and a good game of tug-of-war with her siblings. With her floppy ears and Snoopy-shaped snout, Wendy looks like a brown version of Snoopy come to life.

Pedro Pony

Pedro is the king of naps and the shyest of the group. Once he’s done playing, he’s perfectly happy to plop himself into the crate and snooze, even if chaos is unfolding all around him. Pedro has beautiful, thick, straight fur that makes him especially irresistible for snuggles, and his calm, gentle demeanor makes him a quiet favorite.

The Perfect Tiny Companions

These Mal-Shih puppies are playful, affectionate, social, and full of personality. They are expected to remain very small and will thrive in homes ready for all the joys—and responsibilities—of raising a young puppy. With continued structure, training, and love, each of these little ones is sure to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.
