My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Benny (full name Benito) is an 11 year old Plott Hound mix who was rescued as a puppy. He is being re-home with his sister Louise. He is very nervous around other dogs and but does well with Louise. He loves walks, hiking, is good on a leash and is very affectionate. He's the kind of dog to press your head into after a long day. He's ok with kids although hasn't been around them much. He is good with cats. He does require thyroid medication but it has been at a stable dose for a while now. He deserves a home with someone who can love him and keep him active in his remaining years. He's fully house broken and still has some puppy energy in him.
