My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Marmalade. Marmalade is a five-year-old, delightfully chunky orange lady who recently came to our facility after being surrendered. When she arrived, she was severely matted and had to be shaved by her finders—she’s now proudly rocking an adorable “chunky lion cut” that perfectly matches her larger-than-life presence. While many people say orange female cats are rare, we’re lucky enough to see them often—and Marmalade is a wonderful example of why they’re so special. She doesn’t seem to mind the company of other calm, mellow cats, but she truly prefers to do her own thing and enjoy her space. She is not a fan of dogs. Marmalade loves being admired, gently scratched, and treated like the queen she clearly believes she is. She is a big fan of wet food (of course!), but Marmalade will do best with an adopter committed to a proper diet and mindful treat limits to help keep her healthy and comfortable. She currently weighs seventeen pounds! If you’re looking for a laid-back, affectionate cat who enjoys quiet companionship and a good scratch session, Marmalade may be your perfect match. Her adoption fee is $80, and includes her vaccines, fecal exam, deworming, registered microchip, FIV/FeLV test, and current on flea preventive. She is already fixed.
