Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dinosaur is a 1.5-year-old hound mix with a heart as big as his name. After spending nearly 500 days in the shelter system (most of that time in foster) and experiencing a few ups and downs, this sweet boy is blossoming in his current foster home and looking for a true forever home.

Dino is a loving, gentle, and happy pup whos eager to connect with his people. He enjoys snuggling on the couch, soaking up affection, and showing off what a good boy he truly is.

This smart boy already knows sit, down, come, fetch, drop it, leave it, and off. Hes great with dogs of all ages and sizes, good with cats, and has no toy or food aggression. Hes lived happily with young children (ages 3-5) and would love kiddos in his forever home.

Dinosaur is potty trained and crate trained, going into his kennel without fuss, and does beautifully in the car - he just lays down and relaxes like a champ.

If youre looking for a loyal, gentle, snuggly companion whos ready to love you with his whole heart, Dinosaur is your guy. Email EPAS@elpasotexas.gov with his A number A0057027658 to meet him!

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.
2.
Meet the Pet
We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.
Additional adoption info
All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
