Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brief Bio:Pip was brought to the Front Street shelter by herself at just 5 weeks old, and has been thriving since in foster care. Summary of Personality: Pip is very playful and loves to explore, and be around her people. She will happily chase a mousey, cat dancer or laser light for hours. While she can be a little skittish at first, she warms up quickly and doesn`t take long to recover from being startled. She has a ton of energy, but once she settles after playing she can be a love bug and likes to curl up or pass out on someone. So far, she even likes the occasional belly rub. She also is learning to tolerate a bit of nail clipping. She can be vocal if she`s feeling lonely, but other times is happy to entertain herself with toys or relax on a blanket. Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): She has done great with the middle-aged dog in her foster home and likes to play with him. She does not have experience with other cats yet, but could probably use a bit of socialization with other young cats to learn to modulate her level of play. She does not have experience with children, and hasn`t completely grown out of the impulse to play attack feet or hands. But she should do fine at least with slightly older ones - she can be easily redirected with a toy, and will recover quickly from being startled by a loud noise with just a bit of reassurance. Include any observations: She took to the litter box almost immediately and has no issues there, eats well and doesn`t seem especially picky. She does like to explore, and will look for ways to bypass boundaries (over, under, through). Pip will not be contained! She likes getting under chairs, beds, tables, etc, but this seems to be more about comfort and curiosity than hiding. She is starting to jump pretty high, but is not a big climber yet.
