We got Duke 13 years ago from a family who was going to surrender him. At the time that we had gotten him, my 3 daughters were young, and we found that he's wonderful with kids. He loves to spend time with family the most, almost always sticking by your side. As long as he's been with us, he's been accustomed to sleeping next to someone, eating whenever he's hungry, and because he doesn't like walks, running free in a big yard. Duke is an indoor dog, but he absolutely loves to be outside in the sun when it's warm. He is about 14, a senior dog, but he loves to play when you're up for it, typically with a ball or rope to play tug of war. When you do play, he does growl, but he does not bite. His favorite game, though, is playing fetch outside with a large stick. He's grown to love his pampered life, he receives one bite-size bone each time we all leave the house, as well as a pork bone always accessible. Duke has been a blessing to our family, he is a very friendly dog fit for anyone.
