My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix is the perfect mix of calm, affectionate, and loyal. He’s past the puppy stage and knows how to enjoy the good life—soft beds, gentle walks, and quality cuddle time with his people.

He has a loving, gentle personality and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted best friend. He enjoys being around people, does well with routine, and is happy to relax by your side or join you for a stroll. His soulful eyes and wagging tail will steal your heart in no time.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Tour/Adoption Hours:

Fridays: 3pm – 5pm
Saturdays: 11am – 2pm

During adoption hours we have volunteers available to show dogs and cats to the public. For safety/insurance reasons we can only allow those 12 years or older to go into the dog kennel wing of the shelter. We ask all visitors not to stick their fingers/hands into the dog kennels. Our adoptable dogs and cats are viewable through our website. Everyone interested in applying for a dog or cat must submit an application through our website. We receive multiple applications for each animal. Applications for particular animals are based on best fit for each animal based on each animal’s behaviors and needs. An application not being selected for a particular animal does not necessarily mean the application was denied, but just that another application was approved.

Go to www.hsnwga.org to apply for a cat or dog.
