Hermes is a 3-year-old, 11 lb Shih Tzu–Havanese mix with the cutest underbite and a heart full of love just waiting for the right home.

This sweet boy loves to play, chase a ball, and snuggle with his person once he feels safe. He’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home where he can relax, trust, and show his true, affectionate self. He may enjoy the right dog friend — he’s just a bit selective.

Interview

A Wags 2 Wishes Adoption Specialist will contact you by email for any information that needs clarification. Check spam folder!

3.
Meet the Pet

Schedule a meet and greet with the adoptive dog and your family at our rescue center in Plainfield.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If all approve, sign contracts and pay adoption fee Adoption Fees are: $200.00-$500.00 (subject to change without notice)

Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue's mission is to rescue abused, abandoned and forgotten animals in Illinois and surrounding states that are facing euthanasia and provide a loving and secure atmosphere for the animals transition in our foster home based program. The animals are given time to transition from lives of hardship and become cherished members of their foster family and eventually their forever home.
