My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I was named by Tatum Bethune on the 49ers!

Meet Bear, a total sweetheart. Bear has a gentle, loving personality paired with a playful spark that makes her a joy to be around. She enjoys romping around during playtime, then happily settling in for cuddles and cozy naps-especially when she's close to her siblings. Bear was raised in a nurturing foster home, where she learned how to be a confident, well-socialized puppy. She is already spayed and microchipped, and her adoption includes 6 weeks of complimentary training classes to help her continue to grow and thrive.

Bringing Bear home means welcoming a puppy who's ready to bond, learn, and share in all those special everyday moments. From playful beginnings to quiet snuggles, Bear is ready to curl her way right into your heart.

We are also the first animal community center in the nation to receive Gold LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Our mission is to save lives, keep families together, and create a better future for pets and their people.

Our vision is a world where all animals can thrive, all people experience the magic of the human-animal bond, and all families are able to care for their pets.
