Hi! My name is Ziggy and I am looking for a forever home. I was found running by some really nice folks who tried and tried to find my home without any success. A small local rescue took me in and then contacted BCAA to see if they could help me find a forever home and they said yes! It is speculated that I am a catahoula mix due to my coloring, possibly with an australian shepherd due to my beautiful ice blue eyes; but my foster mom says whatever I'm mixed with doesn't matter as I'm a super cute boy with a sweet personality to match. The vet thinks I'm about 9 months old nd currently weigh right at 31lbs (it is guessed that I will be between 35-45lbs when I'm full grown). I am a little shy when I first meet new people but I love the kids I have met as well as getting attention from anyone willing to give me some and also running around and playing. I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and so far haven't shown any aggression towards the cats I have encountered. I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, but I would really prefer to be out and about with you. I love my food and take treats gently which will help with any future training. I have done ok on leash once I know I can trust you and know with some practice I will get even better.
