My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grant is a nervous kitty who would appreciate a calm and relaxing foster home to recover in.

Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), Dental Disease, Suspected FIV+

Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks
(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.)

Foster Care Plan: Grant is being treated for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. Since he may be contagious to other cats, we strongly recommend keeping him in a separate, dedicated space such as a spare bathroom or bedroom until he has fully recovered.
Once he has recovered from his URI, he will be ready for his neuter surgery. He will also need dental extractions in the future.

FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is not highly contagious. It is primarily transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds where saliva from an infected cat enters the bloodstream. As such, it poses minimal risk of transmission to other cats that do not engage in aggressive behavior. The virus is not contagious to humans or non-feline animals

Foster to Adopt: Grant is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
