My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ Meet Chester

Male • Irish Terrier Mix • Born 9/18/2024 • 30 pounds • Healthy • Vaccinated • Neutered • Not cat friendly

Chester is pure joy wrapped in a wagging tail. At just a year old, he’s playful, energetic, and always ready for his next adventure. Chester loves life, loves people, and loves to play — he’s looking for a family who can keep up with his happy spirit and big heart.

Personality

Chester is friendly, outgoing, and very playful. He thrives on interaction, enjoys games, walks, and learning new things, and loves being part of the action. Chester is not cat-friendly and will do best in a home that understands and respects his terrier instincts. He’s affectionate, social, and full of enthusiasm.

Breed Info (Irish Terrier Mix)

Irish Terrier mixes are known for being:

  • Energetic, confident, and intelligent

  • Loyal and people-oriented

  • Playful with a fun-loving spirit

  • Dogs who thrive with training and engagement

Chester’s mix makes him an excellent companion for an active home.

Owner Responsibilities

Chester’s future family should be prepared to:

  • Provide daily exercise and mental stimulation

  • Continue training and positive reinforcement

  • Offer structure, consistency, and outlets for energy

  • Maintain routine veterinary care

Even though Chester is healthy, adopters should take him to their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption.

Things to Consider Before Adopting

  • Chester is energetic and needs daily activity

  • He is not cat-friendly

  • Confirm landlord or HOA approval for medium-sized dogs

  • Consider your schedule and ability to meet his exercise needs

  • Adoption is a lifetime commitment

The 3-3-3 Rule

The first 3 days help Chester decompress, the first 3 weeks help him learn routines, and the first 3 months build trust and security.

✨ Why Chester Will Be a Great Addition

Chester brings laughter, movement, and love into every room. If you’re looking for a playful, loyal companion who will keep life fun and full, Chester is ready to be your best buddy.
