My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Remi. I am Rikki's sister. I weigh 46 lbs and I am obviously 8 months old... like my sister! I am pretty filled out so we don't expect me to get much bigger. I am an active young lady who loves to play. I am good with kids and dogs and have spent a good amount of time with the young ones. I am a pretty good mix of energy where I can go on walks and keep up with the crowd but then I know how to calm down. I am housebroken and trustworthy so I don't have to use the crate too much in my foster home. I am pretty good on leash but have to remember the leash is not for chewing! I can be a little shy at first when meeting new humans. Just let me check you out for a minute and we will be fast friends. My sister, Rikki, is just a bit more confident when meeting! We will contact you for a phone call within 72 hours after submission of your application. Please check your spam for our emails!

Additional adoption info

Please email info@asecondchanceforziva.com for an adoption application if interested in adopting or fostering a dog from ASCZ and please email us after you have submitted an application. After all checks on the application have been completed, the potential adopter will speak with the rescue to discuss what they are looking for and if a dog will be a great fit in their home. Once an application is submitted, the adopter will hear from the rescue within 72 hours.

The fee for puppies under 6 months is $525 and the fee for dogs 6 months and older is $425. This fee contributes to (but not limited to) all core vaccinations for each puppy/dog, microchip, spay/neuter, HW testing and prevention and flea/tick prevention while under the rescue's care and transportation.

A Second Chance for Ziva, Inc. (ASCZ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of dogs regardless of breed, size or age. ASCZ rescues, cares for and adopts out homeless dogs into loving and responsible homes. The rescue does not have a shelter but rather we rely on devoted fosters that open their homes and provide love and comfort to our dogs.
