Bean was adopted as a puppy but family job changes have left no time with her. She is good with kids but bigger sturdy kids because of her size.
She is going to be a big girl and Corsos are very intelligent and need a strong leadership and consistency. Best dogs on the planet if taken care of properly.

Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, sturdy kids, all adults, not cat tested
Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, has basic training
Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm testing at 6 months

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.

We are 100% volunteer/foster based, so we do ask that you complete an adoption application in order for us to schedule a phone interview.

After reviewing your application, we'll contact you to determine if dog is a good fit for your lifestyle and home.
Approve Application
We check vet and personal references to ensure previous dogs were well cared for, so please be thorough in providing this info.
Home Check
This enables the dog to get to know you and your home and for us to suggest anything they may need to be successful in your home.
Sign Adoption Contract
You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.
