My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beau Bear. He is a tiny survivor with a huge heart and an even bigger personality.

Approximately four months old, Beau Bear is what we lovingly call a Boxer/Frenchie-ish mystery mix (aka: maximum cuteness, zero regrets). He came from a litter of four and bravely beat parvo, a journey that makes his sweet, joyful spirit even more special. This little guy is pure resilience wrapped up in puppy wrinkles.

Like many puppies, Beau Bear can be a little vocal at first with new people or dogs and just needs a moment to settle. With calm, confident guidance and training, he’ll continue to shine.

Beau Bear is dog-friendly and is currently living happily with two friendly dogs. He’s crate trained, well on his way with potty training, and, bonus…..not destructive in the house!

Beau Bear knows how to play hard and chill harder. Want a snuggle buddy for movie night? Beau Bear is your guy!

Beau Bear is equal parts playful and snuggly and ready for a forever home where he can keep growing into the amazing dog he is meant to be.

All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

More about this rescue

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.

As with any non-profit organization, we rely solely on funds from generous and cherished supporters to keep our doors open to save more lives. If you're not ready to adopt, please still consider donating to Take Me Home (www.takemehome.tv) today. Every little bit helps!
