Kaiser is a friendly, highly trainable shepherd we’ve had since 12 weeks old. He has a medium drive and a temperament often compared to a Lab—excitable, affectionate, and people-oriented. He enjoys rally, agility, and nosework but is not a high-intensity working dog.
He has strong obedience, is e-collar trained, kennels easily, is regularly boarded, and does well in doggy daycare with other dogs.
We are rehoming Kaiser due to hyperlaxity in his ligaments, which has caused arthritis in his wrists. With daily pain medication, he has an excellent quality of life, but our vet recommends a home with fewer stairs and a quieter lifestyle for his long-term comfort.
This is a medical decision only—no behavioral issues. We’re committed to finding Kaiser a loving, appropriate home and can share vet records and training details.
