This helps FuRRR Feline Rescue with pet care costs.
Ida - Female DOB 6/1/2025 Domestic Short Hair - Peterbald/part Sphynx
Ida was surrendered to us back in the fall because they couldn't afford to care for her any longer. Ida is a rare Peterbald cat which originates from Russia and are not completely hairless like Sphynx cats. They still require a different care structure than cats that have hair. Ida currently only eats a special hydrolyzed dry food and isn't that fond of wet food. She is very friendly once she has time to settle in and get to know her humans. She has been in a foster home with several other cats but that situation is too stressful for her, and she needs her very own quiet home, either by herself or with another calm, gentle older kitty roommate.
Ida would need a cat-savvy person who is familiar with the skin/food needs of this type of cat, and she would do best with no dogs or small children.
