Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Griffin!
Griffin is a sweet, handsome boy with a playful heart and a gentle soul. He loves interactive play—especially wand toys—and is just as happy lounging in a sunny window, watching the world go by. With his cheerful personality and laid-back charm, Griffin brings a lovely balance of fun and calm to any home.
Griffin would thrive with a feline companion and especially enjoys the company of his brother, Gallagher. The two share a special bond and would love to be adopted together if their new family has room for double the cuddles and companionship. If you’re ready to welcome two amazing boys into your home, Griffin and Gallagher are sure to make it brighter. 🐾 Griffen is also polydactyl- meaning he has extra toes!
All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
