My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Angel, a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd mix whose name fits her perfectly. Her journey hasn’t been an easy one—when she first arrived, she was terrified, shut down, and reacting out of pure fear. It was clear she had been through far more than any dog should, including having multiple litters of puppies far too young.

But with patience, gentle guidance, and a whole lot of understanding from staff, Angel has blossomed into a completely different dog. She has done a full 180 and is now showing us just how loving, sweet, and hopeful she really is. Every day she grows braver, and every day her tail wags a little more.

Angel adores other dogs and would thrive with a canine friend to help her continue building confidence. She is ready for a fresh start—a home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and allowed to bloom at her own pace.

If you’re looking for a beautiful soul to love and lift up, Angel is ready to spread her wings. 🩵
