Pumpkin was found following people around a park in Harlem, trying her best to charm her way into someone’s heart. We’re pretty sure she was a bodega cat who was abandoned, which explains why she greets you like an old friend every time you walk into the room.
She’s been indoors for a couple of weeks now, settling into the cozy life. Pumpkin is a certified couch potato, she’ll lounge right beside you, and once she trusts you, she’ll eventually lay on you… leaving you adorably trapped under her warm, purring body.
Pumpkin needs an experienced cat person who understands that trust takes time. She won’t let you touch her right away, but she’ll still demand her meals like the queen she is. Once you earn her heart, though, she’s yours. Pumpkin must be the only cat in the home, she wants all the love for herself.

We ask an adoption fee of $175 Which includes a general health exam, spay /neuter surgery, and microchip ID implant, Felv/FIV testing, age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies.

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
