Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Don't let his grumpy face fool you, Luminaire is a very friendly and chonky senior gentleman. He is an expert biscuit maker and will sometimes start purring just because you look at him. He was a friendly stray cat that was taken in by a good samaritan with the hopes that he could have a chance at a happy and safe family cat life.
Luminaire is very new to us and we are still learning his likes and dislikes, but so far we know he loves people and making those biscuits!

Adopting an animal is an exciting and important step for you and your family! Here is a brief outline of what to expect.
1. Come to our shelter and visit with the animals... come as many times as you like... you'll know when you've met "the one!"
2. Meet with an adoption counselor who will work with you to see if the animal you want can fit into your lifestyle, preferences, desires and expectations or if another would be a better match!
3. Complete the adoption paperwork and counseling session (this may take up to 45 minutes, so please be prepared to spend this time with an Adoption Counselor). You may also complete the adoption application online prior to coming to the shelter! Please note the application is an expression of interest and does guarantee animal placement.
4. Take your new best friend home!!
