******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************
We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
Shelly is a spayed, 1 year old female Staffie mix, currently weighing around 60lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found.
This adorable ball of energy is looking for an adventure buddy and human to love! Shelly is always up for a hike or long walk and would probably be a great running partner. Once she’s burned off that puppy energy, she’s ready to snuggle and get all of the attention and belly rubs. She hasn’t met any kids, but because of how excited she gets around people, older, dog savvy kids would be advised.
Shelly lived with 2 male mastiffs and did great, however, she can be selective with female pups. We do recommend that Shelly be your one and only at this time. We have no information about cats.
While she is a goofy girl working on her basic manners, she does learn quickly. She knows sit and loves to give her paw for treats! Shelly is house trained, letting you know when she has to go by tapping the door with her paw. She does well in a kennel too!
Shelly is ready to win your heart! Please let us know if she’s the pup for you!
***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***
