Pickle was adopted from a shelter in Texas by his owner, Marla, her husband, and two young daughters. They had a young cat that he did amazingly with.
Unfortunately, Marla has passed away and her husband is not available at the time to take him. Pickle is a sweet, loving dog who wants nothing more than to be by your side. He is excitable and can get jumpy, but can be a great listener when you sternly tell him to stop. It's clear he received a small amount of training, as he knows sit and down, but will not stay in them for more than a minute. Pickle also has severe separation anxiety that will NEED to be worked on. He has trauma with being locked in or out of room, and even outside, because he was being "bothersome" or "annoying". Due to this, he has damaged doorframes, but ONLY WHEN HE FEELS TRAPPED. He is extremely well behaved otherwise and has done great in a crate with his foster. But she only has a week, maybe less, before her grandparents force her to get him out. Please help
