Collie is a 6-year-old tabby who has been deeply loved in her home and would thrive in a calm household where she can continue to feel safe and secure. She is primarily an indoor cat, with occasional supervised time outside to explore and play in the yard.
We are seeking a new home for Collie due to safety concerns with our infant. She has swatted and scratched him when he attempts to touch or interact with her, and we are concerned that as our child becomes more mobile, these reactions may increase. Collie can also be fearful and reactive when visitors first arrive, often hissing or swatting, though she typically settles once guests are seated and the environment is calm.
Collie would do best in a quiet, adult-only home without children or dogs, and with limited visitors. She currently lives with another cat and gets along very well with feline companions. With the right environment, Collie has the potential to be a loving and content companion.
