Willie is a strikingly handsome hound mix puppy with a calm, thoughtful presence and a heart that’s fully devoted to his people. At just about 4 months old, he’s already a solid, sturdy pup with big paws and the look of a dog who will grow into a strong, impressive adult. He weighs 25 lbs so he will likely be a large sized adult.
Willie can be a bit shy when he first meets new people, but once he feels safe, his affectionate nature shines through. He truly loves being with people and seeks out closeness and comfort. He is a dedicated cuddler and happily spends the night curled up beside his person, content just to be near. Blankets, snuggles, and quiet companionship are some of his favorite things.
He does exceptionally well with children and is gentle and patient with them. Willie is also respectful with other dogs and would do well with a canine companion, though he would be just as happy being someone’s primary focus.
Willie is crate trained and doing well with structure and routine. He is currently working on potty training and continues to improve each day with consistency and positive reinforcement. He is eager to please and bonds deeply once he trusts you.

The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
