Macchiato is a sweet, spirited little girl who’s always up to something and absolutely loves being in the middle of the action. Her curiosity knows no bounds - if something is happening, Macchiato wants to be the first to investigate.

She’s endlessly playful and can often be found wrestling, chasing, and tumbling
around with her siblings, showing off her adorable kitten antics. The moment you reach out to her, she instantly melts into a happy purr machine, eager for affection and attention. With her lively personality and
loving nature, Macchiato will bring warmth, laughter, and so much joy to any home lucky enough to choose her.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

2.
Interview

Our adoption counsellors focus on educating our adopters on cat care. Once approved, they use a matching process to find your perfect pet.

3.
Meet the Pet

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

Additional adoption info

Each year more than 1,400 cats and kittens are adopted through VOKRA. We're always here after the adoption if you need ongoing advice.

Response times can vary, depending on the time of year and available volunteer resources. Applications and help requests for non-emergency issues will usually receive a response in 1-3 days.
