Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Teddy (aka Tay Tay)!
Teddy is a sweet, affectionate little guy whose favorite place in the world is right by your side. Or better yet, in your lap. He’s a true cuddle bug and will happily hop into your lap while you’re working at the computer or snuggle in close under your arm at night.
Teddy enjoys his daily walks and loves taking time to explore his surroundings. He’s a very expressive boy who isn’t shy about using his voice to share his thoughts. He’s fully housetrained, not a flight risk, and easy to manage in and out of the home.
He gets along well with other dogs and absolutely adores people, including children. Overall, Teddy is a very easygoing, loving companion who would thrive in a home looking for a loyal, affectionate best friend.
All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped.

While we are a foster-based animal rescue and all of our dogs are in foster care, we do have a cat adoption space at our new Adoption & Wellness Center in Chaska. We also partner with local retail locations like PetSmart Richfield and Chuck & Don's Chanhassen to feature adoptable cats at their stores.

More about this rescue
Carver-Scott Humane Society was founded in 1989 with the mission of connecting animals in need with people who care. Our vision is a world where every animal is safe, cared for, and loved.
In 2017, we introduced a new, innovative rescue philosophy based on our Four Pillars: TNR, Serve Where You Save, FurKeeps, and Adopters Welcome. As of 2018, we adopt over 500 dogs and cats into the community every year, with a nationally reported Live Release Rate of 97%. We serve over 1,000 Minnesota pets and their families annually through our surrender prevention program, FurKeeps, aiming to keep pets out of the shelter system in the first place.
CSHS focuses on serving and saving Minnesota pets, and we do not transport animals in from out of state. We do our best to prevent surrender, which creates capacity for us to transfer most of our animals from high-volume impounds and shelters throughout the state. For the past three years, we have transferred more animals from Minneapolis Animal Care & Control than any other animal welfare organization.
