Meet Samson!

Samson is an adorable 4-year-old male Shih Tzu weighing in at a perfect 18 lbs of fluff and charm. He’s a gentle little guy who gets along well with other animals, though we’re still learning how he feels about bigger dogs.

He has to have stones removed on 01/05, and he needs to have special diet food for the rest of his life. The recommended food is: Royal Canin Urinary SO

Samson isn’t destructive, but when he gets a bit anxious, he likes to chew on his blanket for comfort-it's his version of a stress ball! No soft toys. He will tear them open and eat the cotton. Samson is very treat-motivated (he’ll do just about anything for a snack!) and prefers not to be left alone for long periods. He loves being close to his people and thrives on companionship.
