My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact Kathy & Craig (ChatatKat1@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.

Meet Bubblegum!  She is a very demure Gray and White Tuxedo kitten with hazel eyes.  She is a cute little doll of a kitten.  Her favorite toy is her brother, the very regal and playful KC!  They love to play chase through the kitty tunnel and up and down the cat tree.  She loves a good ball maze and toys that are "bat-able" around the room."  She is a little shy at first, but she will be exploring your house and getting up close to you to see what you are doing in quick order.  She is really friendly and purrs when she feels like it.  She is a little less active than her brother, and would fit in well with a couple or with another cat in the home.  She is attached to her brother, but would likely do ok if there were other animals in the household.  She has been a little nervous with our two small older dogs, but she has really hit it off with our adult cat.

Bubblegum comes to you with the initial vaccine series, FIV/FELV testing, a 1-month topical flea treatment, a microchip, a free rabies shot when she's old enough and her pre-adoption surgery already completed!  Miss Bubblegum would love to meet her new forever family...that's YOU!...as soon as possible.

Please make contact now with her Foster Mom Kathy by emailing chatatkat1@yahoo.com to make arrangements to meet Bubblegum!  She will be available to take home on Sunday, December 21st.

Additional adoption info

All of the animals in our care are foster animals from Orange County Animal Services (OCAS), in other words the property of OCAS. Anyone wanting to adopt one of these animals completes an application form and it is submitted to OCAS directly. The adoption fee for OCAS kittens & cats is $40, and they run a BOGO special all year (Adopt 1 kitty get a 2nd for free)!!

The adoption fee for the OCAS kittens & cats includes spay/neuter, initial vaccinations including rabies, testing for feline leukemia, and a Microchip (ID for lost pets). The OCAS foster kittens & cats featured on this website are currently staying with their foster parent. Please contact the foster parent listed in the kitten/cat's description for more information on the kitten/cat that you are interested in. We may also have a limited number of kittens & cats that we are showing on our website as courtesy listing; their adoption fees may vary due to expenses incurred in preparing the kittens/cats for adoption.

Go meet their pets

You may visit the kittens and cats at their foster parent's homes; appointments are flexible and set at a time convenient to the potential adoptor and the foster parent. For more information or to set up an appointment, please email the foster parent listed in the description of the kitten or cat that you are interested in.

More about this rescue

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small nonprofit organization that participates in the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) foster program providing temporary nurturing homes for at least a few of the countless kittens and cats abandoned there. We attempt to find permanent loving homes for these kittens and cats so that they will not have to return to OCAS when their time in foster care is done.

We also strongly promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines, and attempt to inform the general public regarding the daunting problem of pet overpopulation.
