Java was adopted from Animal House Shelter on November 27, 2021, after my wife and I bought our first home and were preparing to start a family.
She’s been one of the best parts of my life—loyal, gentle, and loving. Java is well-trained, on a consistent feeding/walking schedule, and has a special bond with our young daughter.
Unfortunately, due to an upcoming separation and an uncertain living situation, I can no longer provide the stability Java deserves. This decision is incredibly difficult, but it’s being made out of love.
I’m not asking for an adoption fee—I’ll even provide $200 to help cover her first month of care. My only hope is to find someone who will love and care for her the way we have.
