My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Shrimpy!
Shrimpy may be little, but he’s absolutely full of love—and he isn’t shy about showing it! Once he gets to know you, he’ll happily follow you around and soak up all the snuggles he can get. 💙

Shrimpy is about 7 years old and weighs around 8 pounds. He was surrendered to us alongside his brother by someone who could no longer care for them and wanted the very best for both boys. Shrimpy is a total love bug who does great with other dogs and truly adores attention from people.

If you’re looking for a small companion with a big heart, Shrimpy might just be your perfect match.

Shrimpy would love a foster home! Let us know if you can help 🥰

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
