Say hello to Opal! This gorgeous black beauty is a “slow-and-steady” kind of kitten. She’s curious, bonded to her siblings, and prefers to take things in at her own pace. The world can be a bit scary for Opal, so she may not be a lap kitten on day one, but when she feels safe, she relaxes fully and melts into a big, happy purr.
We think the ideal home for Opal would be one with kind and gentle people who will take things at her pace, and hopefully she will have another fun and friendly kitty companion to play away the day with- She could even go home with her brother Cheeto if you're looking to adopt two! Opal really is perfect for someone who appreciates a kitten who chooses connection thoughtfully rather than on demand.
If you are interested in meeting Opal, please fill out an application on our website: forgottenfelines.com/cat-app

Forgotten Felines is a non-profit, registered 501(c)3 organization serving Sonoma County since 1990. Our primary function is to provide low-cost spay/neuter clinics to assist the public with the management of feral or wild cats in Sonoma County. We offer instruction and equipment loans (subject to availability) to help people with the goal of reducing the feral cat population by a Trap-Neuter-Release program. Tame adults we find living in feral cat groups, as well as formerly feral kittens who have been tamed down by our volunteer foster parents, are put through our adoption program. We are always actively seeking volunteers to assist with fostering, trapping, and helping at our thrift store, Pick of the Litter.
