My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sorrento 💙

Sorrento is a 6-week-old Dachshund/Terrier mix weighing just 2 lbs 10 oz of pure puppy charm. With his tiny size and big heart, he’s an absolute love bug. His mama is an 18-pound Dachshund mix, so he’s expected to stay on the smaller side when fully grown.

Sorrento is sweet, cuddly, and soaking up all the lessons that come with being a growing pup. He’s working hard on his puppy skills and beginning his house-training journey, showing just how smart and eager he is to learn.

If you’re ready for puppy kisses, playful moments, and a lifelong best friend, Sorrento might be the perfect little guy for you. 🐾💙

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
