My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Venice 💕

Venice is a 6-week-old Dachshund/Terrier mix weighing just 3 pounds of pure sweetness. With her petite size and lovable personality, she’s already stealing hearts wherever she goes. Her mama is an 18-pound Dachshund mix, so Venice is expected to stay on the smaller side.

Like any growing puppy, Venice is working hard on her puppy skills and starting her house-training journey. She’s curious, cuddly, and learning more about the world every day. Venice will thrive in a home ready for all the fun, patience, and love that comes with a young puppy.

If you’re looking for a tiny companion to grow with and shower with love, Venice may be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾💖

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
