Meet Elsie!
Elsie is an 11-month-old terrier mix with a shy, gentle, and quiet personality. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys the simple things—tasty treats, the company of other dogs, and exploring the outdoors at her own pace.
Elsie is both crate trained and house trained and is happiest when she has a comfy, quiet spot to relax and take long naps. She can be timid at first and will need a few days to adjust to a new home and new people, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, her trust will grow. Once she feels safe, Elsie’s sweet personality shines through with happy tail wags and requests for long, cozy belly rubs.
If you’re looking for a calm, gentle companion who will blossom with time and kindness, Elsie could be the perfect match for you.

We help animals who are in need by placing them in a loving foster home, providing medical care, and finding the perfect home for that animal to live in for the rest of its life. Tails of Hope takes mainly dogs, but has occasionally helped other animals in need. We take animals in through shelters and other rescue organizations, as strays, or as owner surrenders from people in our local communities.
