My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I’m Roscoe. I’m a friendly, shy, and affectionate guy looking for my forever home. I’ve lived in a busy household before—with a dog, two other cats, and two children—so I’m familiar with sharing my space and coexisting with others. I do best when things are calm, though. If there are a lot of people around, I might get a little overwhelmed and find a quiet hiding spot until I feel safe again. Once I’m comfortable, I’m very loving. I love being pet (seriously… all the time), and I’m happy to curl up in your lap when I trust you. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, though—if I’ve had enough, I’ll let you know with a little meow and try to get back to all four paws on the ground. I’m a gentle soul who just needs patience and understanding. Give me a peaceful environment, let me come to you on my own terms, and I’ll reward you with lots of affection and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet lap cat who may be a bit shy at first but full of love, I might be your guy.
