My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Logan. I didn’t have the easiest start to life. I was living outdoors and got pretty sick, and by the time I made it to the shelter, the vets had to remove my left eye to help me feel better. It was scary, but I’m feeling so much better now—and I’m learning that indoor life is actually pretty wonderful. I can be a little shy when you first meet me. I like to take my time and make sure you’re kind. Once I feel safe, my true personality comes out. I love gentle pets, and before you know it, I’ll be purring and pushing my head into your hand, asking for more. I’m adjusting really well to my new life and don’t let having one eye slow me down at all. What I’m really looking for now is a quiet, loving forever family who will be patient with me at first and then enjoy all the affection I have to give. If you’re willing to give me a chance, I promise to fill your home with soft purrs, gentle head bumps, and a very grateful heart.

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City.
