My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Colt, but I also go by, Colty or Boo-boo
My story is a little sad, but I can tell you I have not let it get me down. I came to the shelter in early December when my owner passed away and I was found skinny and sad in our home together. My other family members were unable to house me after I was found and now, I am waiting for a home I can rest my long legs cuddle up to my people. Before I came to GA I was living in North Carolina when Hurricane Helene decimated my home and I was displaced and rehomed to my most recent owner. We had an amazing two years together where we found out I like to play with other dogs, sometimes like to chase cats, and I always love to hang out with my people. My previous home did state I was DNA tested and am a ShepherdXCoonhound mix! Isn't that neat? I am still a very social and happy boy, despite recent sad luck. So, what do ya say? Wanna meet an almost nine-year-old, lanky boy like me?
I hope to meet you soon! I promise to not disappoint.
