Meet Dumpling!
Dumpling is an absolutely precious 8-month-old Bichon Poodle mix with the sweetest personality to match his name. This little boy is smart, loving, and full of puppy charm. He’s already learned to use a doggie door and goes outside reliably—no accidents, which is amazing for his age!

Dumpling adores playtime and especially loves playing with our 11-year-old son, showing just how gentle and kid-friendly he is. He’s playful without being wild, affectionate without being clingy, and would make a wonderful companion for a family or individual looking for a loving pup.

With his soft curls, bright eyes, and loving nature, Dumpling is truly one of a kind and ready to find his forever home.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required for dogs. However, because it stresses cats to be confined and transported with dogs long distances, we do not transport our cats. They are local to Texas only. Thank you.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
