Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mollie recently joined us as our volunteer office dog, and it didnt take long for her to win hearts. From the moment she meets someone new, her tail starts wagging and shes incredibly sweet and gentle with people.

She has lived with other dogs during her time in the shelter, and she even met a tiny kitten - after a quick sniff and realizing there were no treats involved, she politely walked away. Mollie is still discovering the world around her and seems unfamiliar with toys, which makes us think she hasnt had many chances to just be a dog, but she is potty trained and hasnt had any accidents in our office either!

Mollie arrived at the shelter very underweight, and the shelter environment has been especially hard on her. Because of that, shes on out at risk list and urgently needs a foster or adoptive home where she can rest, gain weight, and feel safe.

If you have dogs at home, youre welcome to bring them by for a meet-and-greet to see if its a good match. Come meet Mollie at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave., daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Shes ready for a second chance - and wed love for you to be part of her story.

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.
2.
Meet the Pet
We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.
3.
Sign Adoption Contract
Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.
Additional adoption info
All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
