Daisy is an 8-year-old Chihuahua mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. She can be shy and a little aloof when you first meet her, but give her some time and patience and she’ll blossom into the sweetest little companion you could ask for. Once Daisy feels safe, she’s all about affection, cuddles, and being close to her people.
Daisy would do best in a quiet, low-key home without children, where she can relax and move at her own pace. She’s mostly house trained, though she may have an occasional accident. She’s a low-energy girl who enjoys lounging and taking it easy, but don’t be fooled—when her people come home, she’s known to celebrate with the cutest zoomies!
Her favorite things include tasty treats, cozy beds, and especially snuggling up in bed or on the couch with her humans. Daisy is happiest when she’s right by your side.
Medically, Daisy has a grade 5/6 heart murmur that will need ongoing monitoring as she gets older. She recently had dental surgery and had most of her teeth removed, and she has mild anemia. Despite these things, she’s doing well and continues to enjoy the simple pleasures of being loved.
Daisy’s ideal home would be with an older couple or adults without kids—someone who understands senior dogs, appreciates a calm lifestyle, and is happy to share their couch and bed with a devoted little snuggle buddy. If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion who will reward your patience with endless sweetness, Daisy may be your perfect match.
