My name is Petunia!

From the rough roads of Maypearl TX, Petunia has never known the true love of human companionship, but that’s all changed since arriving at Flying B. Once skittish and fearful, Petunia is young enough to take the risk for pets and cuddles. She is learning that humans can be kind and provide her all the things she needs to thrive.

Petunia greets us with wiggles and little barks when we come home. She LOVES belly rubs and is learning that being held for a cuddle isn’t so bad. Petunia is also very treat motivated. She takes to her crate beautifully and is a really good girl.

She does very well with dogs of all sizes after she’s had an appropriate introduction and knows they aren’t a danger to her, but sets appropriate boundaries until she’s comfortable with the relationship - this includes playing with a 4 month old Great Dane, and 2 old grumpy chihuahuas.

Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers. We just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period.
